About Me

A little something about me.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern in San Antonio, Texas. I received a Master of Science degree in Family, Couple, and Individual Psychotherapy from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2015. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and their families at both the Community Counseling Service and Bexar County Juvenile Probation. I have experience working with concerns related to communication, anxiety, depression, behavior, relationships, stress, substance abuse, and suicidal ideation.

I work from a systemic, strengths based perspective, drawing from Narrative and Solution-focused Therapy approaches.

In addition to my clinical experience, I worked for two years as a cognitive trainer for children and adolescents struggling with ADHD, dyslexia, memory, logic & reasoning, and more.

On a personal note, I am a San Antonio transplant from West Bloomfield, Michigan. I am in a wonderful relationship with my partner, Paul, and look forward to becoming a parent in the future. I am currently the proud mother of two fur-babies, who provide us with hours of entertainment. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going salsa dancing, playing tennis, watching Netflix, and traveling.
